I
also had to deal with perfectionism, a great quality but also a tragic flaw. Magically,
one day the "a-ha" light bulb came on in my head and I discovered
"Do
good enough when good enough is good enough."
We
aren't always graded on neatness. If we need to drain the swamp in a hurry, it
just doesn't matter if the ditch we dig has all of the dirt piled on one side.
MY MESSAGE to all procrastinators: Enough gawking, posturing, thinking, calculating
and double checking, JUST GET IT DONE!
